Welcome to the Virtual Tour of Warsaw. Please follow the link located at the bottom of each page to take you to the next landmark.

We start our tour in the heart of Warsaw at the Palace of Culture and Science. The Palace was a gift of the Soviet Union to the people of Poland and was supposed symbolize the Polish-Russian friendship. Construction began in 1952 and it was completed in 1955. The palace measures over 230 meters, contains 40 million bricks, and has 30 stories. Until 1990 the palace held the name of the Soviet dictator Joseph Stalin. If you are visiting Warsaw this would be an excellent place to view the whole city. There is a visitors' terrace on the 30th floor of the palace. From there you can see out 30km in all directions. The palace also holds 3 movie theaters, 4 theaters, 2 museums, and many other institutions.
